Cmmg buffer
Recently built a 6.5 Grendel that required a heavy buffer. Put this buffer in and my rifle runs like a top. This is the perfect setup

It works
It works like your shoelaces or toilet paper. Does the job, and you don't have to give it a second thought. Still using the regular 5.56 buffer spring and a CMMG BCG. Spacer not required on my CMMG lower.

good inexpensive ar9mm buffer
Works as should! Nothing fancy but is good value and easy to install.i used this and a spacer for the gun that cycle fine. The sell the carbine buffer spacers at their store as well.

Needs a spacer!
Used it with the CMMG BCG and it cycled perfect! Tried to lock the bolt open after about 100 rds and bolt catch wouldn't move. It was bent but not broken (yet). Advertised as not needing a spacer but apparently not true! I ordered the Spikes spacer and probably will have no more issues?

Buffer bouncr
I had a buffer that would not retract far enough to lock hammer. My hammer springs are 3.5 lbs i would get buffer slam firing 2-4 rnd bursts. Fun but not cool i tried different springs. Knew i needed different buffer. Saw this one it is a tad bit longer than other one works perfect. It is heavier than stock Colt buffer.

works
Works well in my 9 mm carbine build. Using a billet lower with a CMMG bolt.

Need a tunable heavy buffer?
I have been on the search for a heavy buffer that is tunable, so my search brought me here, I wanted a steel bodied carbine buffer that had the 3 standard weights and a removable tip, so that I could change out the steel weights for tungsten weights to achieve the weight I need to tune a suppressed rifle correctly. I had looked at CMMG buffers before, but the description was lacking and there were no photos of one from an angle that showed the roll pin through the tip. A few of these style buffers are crimped on the top and you cant remove the tip to play with the weights. I came across this company and they had a different picture that showed what I was looking for. Soooo, I emailed 9mmar and asked them if this buffer contained standard size weights. Within 30 minutes James had not only replied back to me, but he had opened one up and took it apart to inspect it and reported back to me with his findings. With customer service like that, I was not shopping anywhere else. I ordered one immediately and received in in a couple of days, and it wasn't even the one that he opened (which I would have been fine with). Soon as I had time, I swapped out the 3 steel weights for 3 tungsten weights out of an H3 I had. My goal was 7.5 to 8.0oz with the ability to tune it. I weighed it on a good scale and it came in at 7.9oz! With the 3 steel weights in stock configuration it weighed 5.45 oz, so lots of room for playing with. Thanks James!

Great combo with CMMG BCG
This buffer requires no spring spacer! I use it with my CMMG bcg and the rifle cycles without a hiccup.
